The First Fruits of Our Labor

When I was asked to write a blog post for the Harvest of Talents, I said, “I’m holding a baby.” After my hot (pun intended) wife took our son from me, I said, “Sure.” You see, our small group is working on several Harvest projects because we are excited to see fruits of labor and creativity be used for good.

I believe it was Abraham Lincoln that said, “Buttons will unite this great nation.”  Well, I don’t know about that, but they make great decorations.  If your name is Abigail, Allison, Allie, Alexandria, Adele, Aileen, Anya, Andrea, Anne . . . then we have the wall hanging for you (or Adam, Andrew, Aaron  etc., if you’re really into pastels).  Perfect in any room, this letter-boxed letter says, “I’m happy, confident, and ready to do good today.” It can be yours on September 28th.

Our small group is working many more projects.  Some are button related, most are not.  Have you wanted to use canvas grocery bags, but most you see boring? We have something for you.

If you come in from the rain with your umbrella and are sad that its hanging spot is too drab, we have something for you.

If you think your baby should be shielded from the sun, but are worried about the fashion consequences, we have something for you.

As we complete these projects and others, we will continue to update you, the public.
