The Knoxville Harvest is fast approaching (April 21, 2013--less than a month away)! If you haven't already, please consider how you might use your talents to help us fight world hunger. If you're creating an item (or items!) to submit for sale or auction in April, you have only a few more weeks to finish up. Need inspiration? Check out these project ideas. If you're into decorating, painting, sewing, etc., try flipping through a home improvement magazine or two. You could also search Pinterest for creative projects. Or, do you have other skills you could donate for sale or auction? Would you make an excellent Spanish tutor? Could you teach dance to a kindergartner? Are you an excellent hedge-trimmer? Could you detail a car? What about sharpening the blades and changing the oil on a riding lawnmower? Consider donating a certificate for services like these. Your creativity, skill, and willingness to work can help feed hungry people. See you in April!
