This summer, I went with my husband and his family to stay at Riverbend Cottage on the Clinch River. We had paid for a stay at the cottage at last year's Morristown Harvest of Talents after winning a bid for it in the silent auction. I am so glad we made our way up to beautiful Sneedville, Tennessee, to enjoy this retreat. George and Sheri Baker own the cottage and built it themselves. That's right! They used their talents (George is a builder and Sheri is an artist.) to build this cottage, decorate it beautifully, and thereby create a homey, private spot for relaxation. This year, George and Sheri have donated again, using their talents to feed hungry people. If you come to this year's Harvest of Talents, you can bid on a 3-day, 2-night period (weekend or otherwise), to be used by June 1, 2014. To see more pictures of the cottage and the beautiful land surrounding it, visit the website George and Sheri have created: www.RiverbendCottageTN.com.
